Hi everyone,

Have you read the series of articles? I believe this is the first time to introduce the material to you here.
- Audio Quality in Networked Systems -
This biweekly series of white paper presents a summary of the most important quality issues in networked audio systems to support system designers and sound engineers in maximizing their system’s Performance and Response, achieving the maximum Audio Quality and Sound Quality.

YCATS Seminars in Nashville

Hello all! Registration for the YCATS seminars in Nashville are officially open. Classes being offered include our new Digital Sound Reinforcement 201 -- Club, Introduction to NS-1, M7CL for Beginners, M7CL for Advanced Users, and the Digital Network and System Design Clinic. 2010 Training Schedule

We have had many inquires about our 2010 Training Schedule lately, so I thought I would post a note here! Our free training seminars are hosted outside of our Buena Park, CA office between April and November. Between December and March, the majority of our classes are held at our Buena Park office.

Jose and I are currently in the process of working out our travel and class schedule for next year. If you would like to stay updated on our schedule, please subscribe to our Google calendar. Tentative dates will be posted there first and will not post to the Yamaha website until all details (i.e. location, catering, etc) have been finalized. If you would like us to consider your City or facility for a seminar location, please submit your request to ycats@yamaha.com.

Montreal and Toronto Seminars

The YCATS team will host a round of seminars in Montreal and Toronto in the next few weeks. The Digital SR Systems 101 and M7CL Training seminars will be held in Montreal during the week of October 26, 2009. While the PM5D Operational Training, PM5D Scene Management and Expansion, M7CL Training, and Digital Mixing 101 Seminars will be held in Toronto during the week of November 1, 2009. Kentucky Seminar Photos -- August 2009

Digtial SR Systems 101 -- Nashville, TN

On May 5 and 6th, 2009 we conducted a Digital SR Systems seminar in Nashville, TN. The two day seminar covered every part of the the audio signal chain. Input devices, output devices and everything in between!

Jose and I were joined by Mr. Joe Rimstidt and Mr. Lloyd Kinkade, members of the Yamaha Commercial Audio Speaker Team and Mr. Doug Gould of Shure, Inc. In addition, we were fortunate to have Mr. Chris Taylor stop by the class, answer a few questions, and share his experience.

Thank you to all who attended the seminar. And a special thanks to the guys that helped us put the class together. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!

DSR101 in NYC...11/4-11/5

The DSR 101 Seminar has finally returned and NYC was a perfect place for it. The seminar was packed with two days worth of information and the people really enjoyed it! Thanks to Tim Veer and the people at Shure for helping us put this together.

We're headed back to the East Coast!

The Yamaha Training Staff will be hosting seminars in New York and Orlando during November. In New York, we will be hosting a Digital SR 101 seminar along with the guys from Shure. As well as a PM5D Operational Training seminar and an M7CL seminar.

DSR101 in Buena Park Septmeber 10

Yes it is finally back After a little break we are bringing DSR 101 back to our line of seminars. Luis from Shure was here to help us with the hardwired and wireless technology and as usual it was a great presentation. We had a great group and we are really happy with the attendance. Digital SR System 101 Seminar Accepting Applications

The Yamaha team and the guys from Shure will be hosting a two day seminar in Buena Park during the second week of September. The topics will include basic digital audio concepts, wireless mics and the "white space" issue, amps, DSP processors, speakers, and how to rig them.
