Dinner in Montreal
Posted on 10:31 by Unknown
I guess everyone knows about Schwartz's in Montreal. Well we went there last night and had a great smoked meat dinner. It was great, but a lot of food.
According to Michel, our district manager here, we were lucky last night we did not have to stand outside for 45 minutes to get a table.
Any ways, if you are not familiar with the place try it out.
Great food, great people, great price.

We are back in Canada, this time is Montreal
Posted on 12:54 by Unknown
Montreal is one of those cities that I always like to come back to. The weather is really nice, thinking that I forgot my jacket at home.
It is our third time here and after a couple of strikes with the places we were using for our seminars we finally found a perfect place for our seminars.
The place is called Showmedia and is a rehearsal studio with all the facilities we need. Loading dock is 5 feet from the room we are using, truck loading dock right there and great power...what else can we ask for? Oh yeah good food, no worries is all cover.

How can I get my fader flip and GEQ to open at the same time on my PM5D
Posted on 16:27 by Unknown
When people are navigating the system they are always looking for the one button that will change multiple things at the same time. In a lot of cases that button will be your User Define Keys.
In this case will be the "Layer snapshot" option.
This will memorize the layer settings for the input channel faders, MIX encoders,
ENCODER MODE, DCA faders and METERS. First assign LAYER SNAPSHOT to
a USER DEFINED key, then configure all the layers in the desired way, and hold the
USER DEFINED key for 2 seconds until it lights up. Now every time that button is
pressed, it returns the layers to the chosen configuration.
If you want to be able to open your GEQ at the same time just have a group of freq from that GEQ assigned to your DCA faders at the moment you create the layer snapshot.

Posted on 13:59 by Unknown
We are back in Canada and our first stop is Calgary.
Our set up day Monday started really late after an elevator problem that was never fixed.
After a few hours we got a different room and we got ready for our seminar week.
Here is the PM5D Operational group. We had a great time and people had really good questions about the system.
Thanks for coming out, hope to see all of you soon.

It is a very sad week for us...Shaun is moving...
Posted on 10:37 by Unknown
Believe it or not Shaun is going back to Japan. His last day with us will be Friday October 10.
Shaun has a new assignment back at our headquarters in Hamamatsu Japan.
If you had the chance to meet him you know how much he cares about the end users and providing the best information available . Shaun came to the US to Manage the training department back in 2005, and for the last 3 and a half years he spent most of his time on the road talking to people and teaching seminars.
He will be posting information here once in a while, but we will not have him again with us during our seminars.
Please make sure you say goodbye.
Stay in touch friend...

TEC award to PM5DV2
Posted on 23:40 by Unknown
We are at AES this week and holding some seminars here.
And tonight, PM5DV2 received TEC award (SR Console Technology).
Thank you, all of PM5D users here.
Your inputs at our seminars or other opportunities had improved the console to the version two and your continuous support to the console gave the award to the product. Thank you again.
