YCATS Training Sessions

Posted on 16:52 by Unknown
Hello,

Many of you have emailed and asked when the next free training session will occur. Jose and I usually hit the road around mid-April and continue until late-November. We are currently finalizing our free training schedule for 2010 and will post dates to the calendar as soon as they are available. Until then, Jose and I will be out on the road helping to support the many events that Yamaha attends. Many of these events will not include our free full day training sessions. However, there will be Yamaha staff available to answer any and all questions that you may have!

In addition, we are busy conducting Private Training sessions across the U.S. Private Training is something that we have done for a while now and which has recently become very popular. These sessions are not open to the public and are designed to meet the specific needs of your staff and facility. If you are interested in a Private Training session of your own, please let us know!

When and where can you find us? Click here or check the calendar at the bottom of our blog.

Posted on 02:09 by Unknown
If you have updated your M7CL to V3.01 for this weekend, please update it to V3.02. We have found a issue with output port delay. Please find details at the download page.
V3 Editor is ok and you can use the V3.0.0 Editor with the new V3.02 firmware.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

p.s.
If you don't use output port delay for slot 1 or 2, the console is fine.

Waves Audio announces WSG-Y16 mini-YGDAI SoundGrid I/O card

Posted on 23:14 by Unknown
Have you checked this release note from Waves?
It was announced at the NAMM show too.

It is an interface card for MY-slot connected to a PC via Ethernet. The PC will be a dedicated server for plugins.
At this time, I don't have so much detailed information yet. But When it is released, your Yamaha digital console may have the latest Waves plugins inserted.
I'm very excited with this product because I have been told about plugins at our classes many times and this is going to be a realistic solution for them, finally.
What do you think?
